We got a 33-run win in our penultimate home game and now we prepare for two crucial away games. It has been a season to remember for our batting department, with runs coming from multiple sources at crucial moments. Heinrich Klaasen, Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan have all scored in excess of 400 runs, while the likes of Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy have made vital contributions. We also have a varied bowling attack capable of making an impact. Pat Cummins’ return has instantly boosted the team’s morale, while Eshan Malinga has emerged as a genuine point-of-difference option across various phases of the game.
