TATA IPL 2026: Chennai Super Kings vs SunRisers Hyderabad, Match 63 - Preview

SunRisers Hyderabad will next face Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk in Match 63 of TATA IPL 2026 on Monday.
We didn’t get the result we wanted in Ahmedabad, but the momentum still remains firmly with us courtesy of the all-round brilliance displayed over the last few weeks. Our bowlers had a good outing as well, with Pat Cummins delivering a very economical spell while our young bowlers chipped in with crucial wickets.
Praful Hinge struck once again with the new ball, just as he did on debut against Rajasthan Royals. Sakib Hussain too made excellent use of his slower deliveries at the death and continued his impressive run of form.
It has been a season filled with many highs and a few hiccups, but the way the team has bounced back after setbacks underlines our fighting spirit. Impactful performances have also come from multiple sources, with seven different Player of the Match winners standing as a testament to the squad’s depth and consistency.
In the reverse fixture at home, our bowlers produced a sensational effort to help us secure two points in a thrilling contest. After half-centuries from Heinrich Klaasen and Abhishek Sharma powered us to 194/9 batting first, Eshan Malinga’s match-winning spell of 3/29 in four overs sealed a memorable 10-run victory.
A win in this contest will confirm our place in the top four.
